Hot Forged Nut BlanksIt refers to the nut blanks obtained by forging method, which has the advantages of saving energy, reducing energy consumption, heating speed, high efficiency and so on. Forging is the processing method of blank or part by making blank change shape, size and improving mechanical property under external force. The metal blanks are usually heated by forging.
The material of structural parts must have good forging, and good forging is the basic condition of producing blank by forging processing method. such as cast iron, cast aluminum alloy, sliding bearing alloy and other metal materials, can only use the casting method to produce blanks. And all kinds of structural steel, deformed aluminum alloy and pressure processing copper alloy metal materials, can be used in forging processing methods to produce blanks. It can be seen that the production method of blank selection has direct relation with material selection. The shape of forged blanks cannot be too complicated, especially in the cavity structure. Simple shape, single piece production of parts, can be selected free forging method to produce parts blanks. and more complex shape and production of large quantities of parts, can choose the tire die forging or die forging and other methods of manufacturing parts blanks. In addition, the shape and structure of forgings should be considered in accordance with the requirements of the process of forging structure in section Fourth of this chapter. The forging blanks of structural parts must be heat-treated in advance, in the process of forging, due to the different forging temperature, deformation degree and cooling speed of forgings, the defects such as uneven microstructure, residual internal stress and cold deformation enhancement are found inside the forgings. This will not only reduce the quality of forgings, but also bring difficulties to machining and final heat treatment. For this reason, forgings are usually treated with proper heat treatment. Through the heat treatment after the forging, can evenly organize, refine the grains, eliminate residual internal stress. Thus for the final heat treatment (such as quenching) for good organizational preparation. At the same time, the machining performance can be improved by adjusting the hardness of forgings.
